Instructor Coaching Pack
Coaching is a key skill when bringing the Honest Truth topics to life with your learners. Every Honest Truth instructor will receive a physical pack of checkcards and be invited to regular professional development webinars, hosted by coaching professionals. Young Driver’s Guide (YDG)
Every Honest Truth instructor receives an example copy of the FirstCar Young Drivers Guide along with details on how to share the digital edition with their learners. These sold in WH Smiths for £4.99 per copy and have a real sense of value. This 116-page magazine is broken down into sections that include learning, buying, owning, driving and insurance. YDG is a resource that your students will benefit from throughout their journey to becoming independent drivers. Parent’s Guide
We all know that parents often have a huge influence over the expectations, behaviour and purchasing decisions of their children. Whether to invest in a safe first car, get a telematics insurance policy, or help with private practice are all critical decisions that, for many learners, will be down to their parents. FirstCar published the Parent Guide to offer parents of new drivers information and advice to help them navigate the learning-to-drive journey and keep them safe after passing the driving test.

Car Sticker
Each year, you’ll receive a new vinyl car sticker to showcase your status as an Honest Truth instructor. If yours gets damaged or you have any problems applying it to your vehicle then please contact us so we can organise a replacement. We’ll be changing the design each year, so keep an eye on our social media for a chance to vote on the design!

As an approved instructor, you are welcome to use the trademarked Honest Truth logo on your website and marketing materials for as long as you maintain your subscription with THT.

Instructor welcome and training videos
Instructor welcome video: This short video is an introduction to The Honest Truth THT and part of the instructor onboarding process. It explains a little about what THT is and how it can enhance your lessons.
THT Training video: This video goes in to THT in more depth, looking at how THT works, the resources you’ll get as part of your membership and how to get the best from the campaign with your students.
Both of these videos are embedded within the app, although once you’ve completed the onboarding process you won’t be able to go back and watch them again. We know many instructors like to refresh themselves periodically, so here you can find both films to watch any time!
